Devices and services that have been marked with the “Android Enterprise Recommended” seal meet Google’s highest corporate requirements. With this program, Google is introducing devices and services for complex and robust corporate use that have been tested by Google. When looking for new employee devices, companies can use a search function to select their desired criteria and in that way ensure that the models suggested meet the requirements. With the certification, Google guarantees defined hardware specifications as well as compatibility with Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) software, which is necessary for Android Zero Touch (AZT), the contactless registration and management of devices. The AER devices and applications are backed by the manufacturer's service guarantee, including regular updates and the latest security patches.
