Product directive of the European Union 2014/34/EU on the harmonization of the laws of the Member States relating to equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (EN60079-XX). The requirements defined by this directive with minimum regulations for improving the protection of health and safety of workers in potentially explosive atmospheres apply to products brought onto the market in the EU.
