A feature phone is a cellular phone that has fewer functions than a smartphone, but more than a pure telephone that can only be used for making calls. A feature phone usually does not have a touch screen but, rather, a physical keyboard and does not use Android or iOS as the operating system. Feature phones are also often equipped with a camera, radio and web browser. By focusing on the most important functions, a feature phone has the advantage of a much longer battery life.
